Congratulations to the winners and top crews at the 470 Worlds in Perth!

Crews sailing Mackay Boats finished 1st, 2nd & 3rd in both men's and women's competitions.

Sailors experienced a range of conditions with the final races sailed in a Stadium like environment on the centre coarse.

Spectators were able to sit in the grandstand or on the rocks and watch while the top 470 sailors in the world sailed close by on a course bounded by the harbour breakwaters.

The first 10 women's crews all used Mackay 470's and 9 of first 10 men used Mackay 470's.

18 of the first 20 crews in both fleets used Mackay Boats.

This was the first opportunity for teams to qulaify their countries for places at the 2012 Olympics to be sailed in Weymouth.

Congratulations to those who have also been slected to represent their countries in Weymouth next year.
